Interior Fittings for maximum utilization

A wide range of interior components make this a true multi-media system, suitable for storing a wide range of material.

The shelves are available either hot galvanized or stove enamelled, with stiffeners for increased load capacity up to 120kg. An optional bracing bar can be retro-fitted increasing the load up to 170kg. The shelves are supported with four brackets with vertical adjustment at 25mm centres. Additional shelf accessories include central (longitudinal) dividers, rear upstands, vertical dividers and label holders.

Other interior fittings include adjustable lateral rails, pull-out file frames and shallow drawers. Standard optional features include central locking and sliding doors for increased security and protection against dust.

Mobile Shelving Systems RR 409 & BRR

The drive systems are easy to operate either manually or automatically at the push of a button.

Both methods use a continuous shaft on all drive wheels simultaneously, thereby eliminating twisting.

Capstan handle drive: The 1-2.000 gear ratio is designed for bay widths of up to 9.5 metres and total weight of up to 30.000 kg. The total weight on the individual chassis however may not exceed 5.000 kg.

Electric motor drive: Each chassis has its own 3-phase A.C. worm gear motor and control panel. The drive can be operated manually during a power failure.


Installation of rails

The quality of the rails and their correct installation are vital for the efficient functioning of a mobile shelving system. The rails consist of cold-drawn steel, welded into a steel u-channel. The running and guide wheels operate on the same type of rail.

The installation of rails in a new building should be on the unfinished floor and then screeded to the top of the rail. In the ase of finished floors, the rails should preferably be laid in channels extending down to the true floor. Otherwise a wood infill platform can be installed between the rails on the finished floor.

Whatever material you need to store, romini has a suitable component. The wide range of fittings allow each unit to be organised as required.

The strength of steel

Every unit consists of a steel tube frame, clad in furniture steel. The internal fittings are also made of steel with static components fitted using clips or pull-out components using bolts.

The plinth is constructed with a solid steel frame, with integrated levellers to guarantee a perfectly levelled system for equal load distribution and ease of operation. The floor is finished in a durable anti-slip vinyl or can be finished to customers specifications.

Ball bearing steel castors ensure ease of operation.

Precision!

The system is available in two heights, two widths and six depths for maximum space utilization within any given floor space.

Units of different widths can be combined.

A system may consist of up to ten individual mobile units, with a minimum access aisle of 750 mm.

Up to ten mobile units can be moved at any one time.
